Gallery in the centre of Port 1560 in cooperation with the Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar organizes a guided tour of the exhibition South Bohemia through the eyes of Hollar members. The exhibition will be guided by Pavel Piekar (born 1960), a prominent Czech graphic artist and master of linocut. Piekar has been working with this technique since 1983 and his work includes themes such as landscapes, portraits, architecture and Italian cities. The exhibition will present how the South Bohemian landscape inspires the current members of Hollar and their work. The exhibition focuses on unique interpretations of South Bohemia, where different artistic techniques and styles intermingle. A varied selection of prints reveals diverse perspectives, from realistic treatment to stylizations and abstractions.
